Wines of La Renaudie
This vineyard of 40 hectares in a single plot represents 10 % of the whole production of red wine of the AOC Pécharmant. This wine has been produced in the region since the XVIIth century.Vineyards are 30 years old on average ("the age of maturity").The castle produces 1,600 hectolitres each year on average. The average yield is 40 hl per hectare.
The wine is directly bottled in the wine storehouses of the castle, which guarantees the same quality for all our bottles. 30 % of our oak barrels are new.Preserving the environment is our priority. We cultivate the vines in a traditional way by ploughing without weed-killer, and actively advocate the decrease in the use of chemicals.Our wines, exclusively red, are renowned for their complexity.

This Pécharmant is matured in oak barrels for 12 months.
The nose of this wine is powerful with hints of red fruits.
It consists of 45 % Merlot, 30 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 15 % Cabernet Franc and 10 % Malbec.
It can be kept on average between 10 and 15 years.
For this prestige vintage, the grape harvest is sorted by hand. Grapes come from the best plots of land of the domain and are converted into wine as soon as they arrive in oak barrels. It consists of 20 % Malbec, 30 % Merlot and 50 % cabernet sauvignon.
This method of assembly gives it a density and intense aroma.
This vintage wine has gathered all the flavours of the local wines: a great vin de garde to discover.
Bottles are numbered.
It can be kept in a cellar for 15 to 20 years.

This "rosé" is issu from the "vieilles vignes de La Renaudie". His fabrics process is really special and it is called "rosé de saigné".
